<description>Kurze Beschreibung von PTBS (PTSD) in englischer Sprache

Info von Mrs. Rose Kazma einer US-Psychologin aus Rom:

There is a historical background on PTSD, ie., names it was given in other wars. Combat PTSD as unique and as an invisible wound. Talk about its symptoms and the connection between PTSD and depression and what happens if it goes untreated; alcohol and substance abuse, self mutilating-cutting, suicide, homicide, unemployment, homelessness, giving some statistics. That the military stigmatizes PTSD, and actually punishes those who suffer from it instead of treating them. The connection between wars of insurgency and extended tours of duty and risk for PTSD. Please pay also attention to TBI and VOW.
